Coupe Carseat
I got a baby on the way. Probably should have gotten the sportback, oh well. Anyone else manage with a carseat in the back of the coupe? If so any recommended brands?

Depends on how tall you are. I'm 5'9 and can fit my son's Britax car seat comfortably behind me, and my daughter's Recaro convertible seat fits comfortable behind the passenger seat. I actually took the car seats along for my test drive (that was the final deciding factor).

No passengers
You can get any carseat in a coupe as long as it is behind the passenger (and you don't have someone sitting there). We had a huge Orbitbaby in a Dodge Challenger. Once kid is front facing, the seat takes up less space. I have a front facing seat and a booster in an A5 cabrio, and it's get out easier than ever.

In my S6 if the seat is behind me I have to move it up. and Im only 5-7. these new infant seats are big and seem longer. it should be fine behind the passenger seat. def not worth selling the car

I don’t have the Coupe but it will fit. I’m 6’6” and I had a Recaro car seat in my MkV GTI two door. Put it behind the passenger seat and was good to go. Wife is 5’6” (and couldn’t drive manual) so I had my seat and she had hers with plenty of room.
Then kid number two came and it was bye bye two door.
...but then they get big enough to sit in a booster and you get some space back...but then the become teenagers and then they want to drive the S5 😂
good luck.
