Default Dash lighting on S5

Hi all,

Looking at picking up an S5 SB or SQ5 as my A6 lease is coming up soon. From photos I see it looks like the SQ5 has led lighting on the center console, dash and doors but the photos I've seen of the S5 at night doesn't seem to have any lighting on the dash around the vents. Is that the reality?

My Premium Plus has white LED ambient lighting in the center console and doors. I assume all the A5 trims have LED ambient lighting, but only Prestige comes standard with selectable colors. The rest get fixed white.

Speaking of the lighting. I know you can change the color, but is there anyway you can get the brightness up? It's pretty bright when you start the car or when it flashes warnings, but the max brightness setting is still pretty dim IMO.

Yes, and I had the same issue and question. It may just be for the "Individual" setting, but you can click the controller on "Individual" and it will give you an option to set the overall brightness. You can then push the controller to the right and adjust the brightness and color of the different elements (lines, surface), presumably capped at the brightness that you set earlier. I didn't think to click the controller on the menu item and that turned out to be the trick.
