My car is Mythos Black previous cars all have been black. I think black with blackout package will look too black with no contrast at all, kind of sinister IMO. Daytona Grey with blackout will have some contrast may look quite handsome. Your choice sinister or handsome!
I've had just about every variant of the VAG metallic black through the years. Some with black optics. The Mythos has more depth than prior blacks. They are stunning when clean. They hide the dirt surprisingly well, but don't expect a show-car appearance every day. That being said, the DG is also beautiful and will handle dirt better and will show the lines of the car better in the dark.
Go look at Mythos in daylight and at night. Unless you know deep down that you have to have it, get the DG.
Hey everyone, I知 looking to get a 2020 S5 but I知 having such a hard time between getting the mythos metallic black or the Daytona grey colour. I値l be getting the black optics package so everything will be blacked out. Anyone have pictures of their cars they could share and would love to hear your opinions on either colour.
I've probably made this comment before, but I really wish the BO were available in the US with the 19" wheels. I went with Daytona Gray but no BO because I did not want the 20" rotor wheels.
OP did you ever decide? I "settled" on Mythos black (my 3rd choice after Navarra Blue and one of the whites). Now after having a few weeks I kind of love it. I think it worked out. It does get a little dusty in my garage but outside doesn't look bad at all even between washes. NE winter is coming and if its as nasty as it can be, it will look like hell for a few mos. So be it. when warm I will wash it. No mods yet, the only 2 things I'm considering right now are the RS style honeycomb grill and light tint (35%) all around. Not seeing the grills available as widely as you'd think and heard it can be a headache to connect up all the sensors, remove some foam from crash bar, repaint it, etc. I will proceed with caution. If going that route I'd find a body shop who does these types of modifications. Also concerned about sensor problems later and or warranty issues. The car is CPO for awhile yet. Maybe whe nthe warranty is winding down, not sure yet. I do think the RS style grill is 100x sexier than the stock S5 grill, which has too much chrome/silver for my taste.

DAMN I love my Navarra blue S5 but I may have made the wrong decision now. I loved my florett silver A6 but I don't think Audi has a better color than Daytona Grey Pearl right now.
