Default Does the stock S5 sportback come with puddle lights in the rear doors??

As title states above, I was wondering if the stock S5 sportback comes with rear quattro/rings puddle lights as well. Thank you!

Not sure if it is the same for the S5, but our A5 has puddle lights in the back doors. Just no Audi rings. They were an option on the front doors, but not the back doors.

Just get them aftermarket from Amazon. Cheap from China with Cree LED. Audi charges a ridiculous amount for these.

I bought a set of S5 lights from Amazon — they are nowhere near as bright as the genuine Audi Rings; the listing spec’s “Cree” LEDs But there is no way to tell as they are sealed; the genuine Audi lights ha e a massive heat sink on the back of the assembly - and it was HOT after about 1 minute on - where the Chinese knock-offs had no visible heat sink. The connector in my S5 looks similar to a telephone RJ6 connector while the knock-offs have slip on connectors. The S5 logo is nowhere near as crisp as the genuine Audi Rings. And, in the illustration they say the tool to remove the stock puddle lights is included - it isn’t.

But, the Amazon knock-offs are about $12.00 to $14.00 the pair.

I’ve kept the factory Audi Rings in the glove box — just in case!

I hear you, but hey $15 vs $200+. The logo itself is pretty crisp and clear on mine. Admittedly I don't have the OEM to compare. You can replace them 10x and still be ahead. Mine seem plenty bright but I'm sure they can vary.

Absolutely! I just wanted to post my experience with the ones I purchased. Your point about pricing is very valid.

You can also buy 10 used Hyundai and still be ahead of your Audi price wise.
