Good morning, I have a 2018 Audi A5 Cabriolet quattro b9 and I have a sound problem, the bass is terribly shattering, in the green menu I have deactivated the loudness but it cannot be memorized! when I turn on the car becomes as before! does anyone know how i can turn off loudness in green menu or via vcds? sorry for my English thanks
Did you solved it.... have the same problem A5 B9 cabr 2018
I'm also still looking for a solution to store the setting in the GEM and keep the loudness disabled.
If you are running an aftermarket system with DSP like me, the difference in sound quality is substantial.
Are there any other people with aftermarket systems dealing with this?
No solution found...
it is not in de long coding or adaption chanels....
we need to have 8w5035035 dataset or zdc. I did not found solution, i set the bass to almost minimum....
Maybe another way to remove the effect of the Loudness is to 0 out all the gain added to the High and Low frequencies applied when Loudness is turned on. The Loudness settings appear to be applied to the first 19 stops on the Volume control, which is bonkers really.

Piggybacking off of this, kind of. But when I put my RS in reverse the volume of the music goes down to almost nothing. On my S5 it went quieter but not this quiet. Is there a way to adjust the volume that the stereo goes to when parking/reverse?

I think you adjust the volume of the parking sensors down, so that the delta isn't as great.
Thanks for the replies.
I did found this link where it seems possible to change the settings by altering the datasets. In the comments there is one person mentioning he successfully disabled the EQ and compressor on his MIB3 unit.
To be honest, my knowledge does not reach far enough at the moment to completely understand all the ins and outs. But it does seem very useful info, perhaps some of you are already aware but I wanted to share it anyway for those who aren't.
That is the exact method I was hinting at too. You alter the Loudness High and Loudness Low profiles to flat and upload that dataset, which will effectively get rid of the Loudness filter.
