Default Gloss black Audi rings?

So, looking at my trunk, I would like to change my Audi rings to gloss black.

do people plastic dip them? Paint them?

Wrapping in vinyl wouldn't work very well.

Does someone sell high quality Audi decals?

These have been suggested?

The items that are listed as genuine or advertised at genuine here are always going to be brand new Audi/VW items. I'd love to give out part numbers left and right, however 99% of the time when a potential customer asks for a part number they would like to search for a lower price, which for some items is possible. Despite wanting to be the lowest price all the time, it's just not possible especially with a good 10-12% tumble in value in the USD against the EUR. Eventually that exchange drop will filter into the North American parts prices as well.

Trying to balance being super helpful and making a living is generally the biggest challenge of this industry. Hopefully everyone gets what they need and I am always happy to help.

Cheers,

Short of taking the front grill off to get to the tabs that hold the badge on, it is nearly impossible to remove without breaking it. The rear badge comes off with heat (hairdryer and dental floss). The best option is to buy new OEM Audi badges. There is a website in Europe (Russia) that has the best prices, don't have the link, but someone on here will have it. I've ordered from them (engine bay panels) and they arrived in about 10 days and were OEM Audi at a great price!

Found the link: https://www.e-acca.com

e-acca.com is great. I’ve ordered a ton of stuff from there. They’re actually based in Latvia but a large chunk of the population (about 1/4 - 1/3) speak Russian due to Latvia being part of the USSR during the Cold War.

OP, from another post I think you said you have a coupe, correct?

if so, the rear rings aren’t the same on the coupe vs sportback. The part above are the rear rings for a sportback. i don’t have the part number for a coupe but someone else might.

You can find black replacement rings around, more or less the old rings will not live through the removal. If you are very careful you can do it without any damage to the grill or the car.

I had ordered some Ebay rings....

But when I removed my factory rings I realized that at some point the trunk had been repainted and since my new rings weren't a perfect fit you could see the edges of the clear coat from the repainting.

Can't have this!

so I ordered the part of E-acca for a very reasonable price.

I guess this is a should have bought once, cried once situation instead of getting the cheaper easier part.
