S5 SB. Is this "normal"? Happens at slow speeds when I'm inching forward with the brake pedal. Grinding type noise.

Also, when I come to a stop, it will sometimes end with a quick grinding type noise when the car fully stops. Doesn't happen all the time, only when I apply the brake a little harder than normal.

Should I get it checked or is it normal for these cars?

Normal. I'd call it more of a creak than a grind.

if it's new, that's usually due to the new brakes. Also you sometimes get that screechy noise after they get wet.

3000 miles, so not brand new. It happens in both wet and dry conditions. Yeah, creak is probably a better description.

I would agree that is normal, mine does the same occasionally and I am at 3500 miles.
