How come you guys didn't tell me that I didn't have to live with Start/Stop?

How come you guys didn't tell me that I didn't have to live with Start/Stop?
The very first thing after I start my A4 or A5 is to press the Auto Start/Stop button and disable that function. I dislike the continuously starting-stopping engine. By total serendipity, I came across
on Amazon over the weekend and ordered two. Got them today, installed in both cars (it took about 30 seconds each) and voila! When you start the car, about 3 seconds later, the red LED comes on. Good by Auto Start/Stop! Now, "I" can decide when to turn it ON if I wanted to.. Take that Audi! 
PS: I understand that you could do this using OBD11, but I don't mess with coding, so this was the only way for me.
