How glad are you that the S5 doesn't have run flat tires?

I will not buy a car with RFs and no spare tire, so the S5 was an easy choice over competing MB and BMW products. I get a flat roughly every 18-24 months and cannot accept a situation in which my car needs to be towed to the dealer or tire shop and I waste a significant portion of a day roughly four times over the life of the car.

SUPER. . .GLAD. That is all.
My Infiniti Q50 has run flats and had to replace them with other run flats for lease return reasons. Rough and noisy ride. Had a few nail punctures that took the tires down anyway and would have been the same with non run flats so no real gain in my experience.
i do agree with M Polo above though - tires are one of the easiest switches you can make. Not having a spare or a set place to store it without shrinking the trunk significantly - that’s another story. I was looking at the BMW 5 series and the spare tire option really eats into trunk space by diminishing the available height from the raised floor to the top of the trunk. The BMW X models get an extra lip in the cargo area but it isn’t as bad.
