How is your paint holding up?

The only chips on the car and they are minor are on the windshield. I realize todays windshield glass is softer than the glass they used years ago, so chipping is to be expected. Not sure why auto manufacturers changed to a softer glass, probably some safety reason. Even with a few minor chips, the windshield looks great and as good as day 1 when I got the car.
Whenever I get a new car I consciously remember to appreciate the brand new windshield with the thought, as I drive it for the first few times, “This is the best it will ever look — no scratches, chips or imperfections.” It usually doesn’t last too long.

Can you post a picture of the area that might need correction?

Overall I'm happy with the paint. My bigger complaints are around not having time to properly wash it more often, and having to park outside. I really need to get to my detailer for a proper wash and refresh of the ceramic coating.

[QUOTE=Noir_2021_RS5;25653363]I will get some better pictures after I wash it this weekend but here’s what I’m talking about
I can offer a little info about the paint before you post the other pictures, it looks like it needs a paint correction, by you or a detailer. That does not look that hard to fix, they will have a paint thickness tool to measure how thin/thick the paint is.
A nice tool to have especially if you buy used cars, you can tell instantly if the car was repainted.

I figured it was paint correction. Ive never done it and am not sure if I will be able to, I am good at gauging my capabilities. I will watch some videos and make a decision, I was leaning on taking it to a detailer for paint correction to be safe.
Thanks for the link, I added it to my cart.
The only thing I will add is the car is not used, I bought it new, I noticed that the day after I took it home, I was so keyed up at the dealer I must have missed it. I thought waxing or washing might get rid of it, but no luck. Paint correction it is.

Wouldn't something like you're describing fall under the header factory defect or faulty workmanship? Shouldn't your first stop be the dealership? It seems to me the problem would be covered by the warranty.
