My vehicle is years out of warranty, but with only 53K miles. I decided some time ago that my next vehicle would be an EV. (OK, let's skip bashing EVs in this thread.) Looking around, the BMW i4 eDrive40 comes close to what I want/need, but not close enough.
So, I will keep my '18 A5 SB. The only issues I have had is a chipmunk chewed through the wiring harness (not covered under warranty). A few months ago the gas door cover wouldn't open so I replaced the mechanism.
From I can find out, the vehicle should be reliable for a few more years. Maybe some minor electrical stuff, like the trunk not closing when the button is pushed. Does that seem in line with your experience?
