Hi all,
I have a 2019 a5 sportback and the climate control in the rear has been acting up.
The climate control would be all synced (3 zones) and with the temperature set to 19 degrees, the front would be pushing out cool air and the the air vent in the rear in the centre is blasting out pipping hot air.
I have ran VCDS and I get the following fault:
1 Fault Found
328019 - Motor for Rear Right Temperature Flap
B10D6 07 [009] - Mechanical Failure
Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 00000001
Fault Priority: 5
Fault Frequency: 1
Reset counter: 118
Mileage: 72247 km
Date: 2023.11.11
Time: 20:03:50
Rear temp. door motor: specified value: 9699
Rear temperature flap motor: actual value: 11573
System run time-Engine running time: 419 s
System run time-Terminal 15 on: 447 s
Rear temperature flap motor: diagnosis-Last operating state: No routine started
Rear temperature flap motor: diagnosis-Operating condition: Blocking handling
Voltage terminal 30: 14.86 V
Outside temperature: 10.00 °C
Does anyone know where this rear temperature is located so I can swap it out?
Thank you in advance!

You should get the workshop manuals for your VIN and then find the instructions for the particular motor unit in the HVAC workshop manual. The temp doors are on the backside of the heat exchanger; they direct the ratio of air through the heat exchanger vs bypassing the heat exchanger. The motor will normally be mounted somewhere around the top or bottom of the unit.
Google search Audi SSP 644 and look at page 95. Right footwell temperature flap control motor V412 seems to be right in the middle of a bunch of motors. At least it's on the glove box side of the air distribution box. It might not be so bad to deal with. erwin.audi.com, pay for a day, get all the PDFs for your VIN. But you can find them at cardiagn.com as well, it's just more of a pain to use that little viewing window vs a local PDF copy.
