Has anyone encountered the message below? This message appeared after updating the Android app last week and my car has not been "reset to the factory settings." I checked in the MMI and the car is still logged in to Audi Connect so I am not sure how to remedy this situation.
Probably similar to the same messages that I've seen for months now in the iOS app.. My messages started after my trial expired, so I only have the "Care" level -- and the functions for that are working.
My 2019 A5 (on the 4G network, so 3G not an issue) gave me something similar a few weeks ago. It appears to be an issue with Audi's servers, and the fact that it showed up after you updated the Android app is probably coincidental. In my case I had been un-registered as key user, and it took dealer intervention (with a lot of phone calls between them and Audi) to get things right. Try logging out of Audi Connect in the MMI then logging back in. If that doesn't do the trick, ask your dealer.
For clarification, I have a 2019 that is not affected by the 3G sunset. I'll try to log in and log out of Audi Connect on the MMI. Beyond that, I'll probably leave it until the next dealer visit, as I don't care enough to spend a lot of time on it.
The MyAudi App v4.9 is still working fine on both our Audis. We both have iPhones (an SE-2020 and SE-2022) both on iOS v15.x .
That is other than the "Link Vehicle" message, but that just appears to be cosmetic . It's been there for months now (see my other thread) but I just scroll past it.
Not sure about Android, but on iPhone ... one thing you can try it deleting the App from the iPhone, shut-down and restart iPhone, and then loading it fresh (you will get the latest version/code freshly installed).
For first test ... park car out in driveway (or at least open metal garage door) ... iPhone should not be hopping towers or switching between WiFi and Cellular ... obvious stuff like that.
In daily use, sometimes it takes two tries to get a successful communication. Another trick that is sometimes needed ... "swipe the App away" that was idle is background (so it will load fresh).

I don't know if it is related, but Audi updated the app and its servers at the end of April:
So, it might be as simple and re-registering but, as dlfitzgerald suggested, I would let the dealer figure it out if you can't get it to work. The new system might have some hiccups and they need to know about the problems to fix them.
