Default Set Not Used

I purchased a set of the A5/B5 versions that I can't use. Please PM me if you want them $40 shipped in the US.

We do not have provisions on the car for the Christmas tree. I think very few US models had them, others have suggested drilling the hole if you really want to (see previous posts). Most clip the Christmas tree.
Noob question, but what is this "christmas tree"?

It’s a clip that looks like a Christmas tree at the bottom of the cover that goes into an existing fender hole to help fasten the cover.

Thanks. I know those connectors but never heard the christmas tree reference. Makes sense.

Yeah but soooo nice to look in the rearview mirror and see....nothing but glass and receding bumpers.

Yes but what pains me is I should pay $500 for these not $800... The car only moves from april-november so maybe I'll get them for next season.

I'm of the same thought on the price, but seriously considering pulling the trigger anyway to get a perfect match with contrast stitching and much nicer look through the rear window.

In a Coupé those European headrests make all the difference in the world. The back window is already small and the US headrests eat up far too much of that small view; the Euros restore most of the missing view, though it is still a narrow window.

Very true - I'm far less bothered by the US headrests in the A5 than I was in the Golf R. I put the Euro headrests in that car almost immediately.
