I have black leather with black stitching. Still waiting for someone who has the enigma code cracker to give me the P/Ns for rear headrests...

A5/B5? Did you mean B9?

I wish you would have posted this a week ago...

It's not too bad to crack. Just a sucks because no pictures to accompany the part numbers.

It's just like the aspherical glass, $1,200 on a certain US based website. Can pick them up on eBay for ~$200-$300 USD.

I wonder is it safe to cover the ECU? The ridges on it looks like heat exchangers.

Its funny you mention this as I was wondering the same thing the other day as I was wondering the same thing while repositioning the wiper arms (detail shop put them on wrong). I have the cover on our RS5 but not on our Allroad. Was thinking of getting one for the Allroad...But now I'm thinking of taking the one off the RS5...

I would not cover a heatsink with anything, the heat transfer won't be as expected by the engineers. You have little to gain (looks?) and a lot to loose.

this is an excellent point. Cover will be coming off most likely. Wasted money...at least I didn't shell out for the carbon version!

The ECU cover has no noticeable impact on temps. I tested it with and without the cover for a week, taking temp readings with an IR gun immediately after drives. Readings were all between 5 to 10 F of each other, regardless of whether the cover was on or not.

If it fits an A5, I’ll take it off your hands.

IIRC, this was discussed when the covers were first “discovered” and I did the exact same temp measurements and found the same results. As always, YMMV!
