Just purchased this! Sending in my ECU on Monday to get flashed..

Admittedly I'm pretty nervous about voiding the warranty. Guess I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope for the best! Only 6k miles on mine ATM

APR Stg 1 93 Oct = 520 AWTQ / 438 AWHP (for what should be a relatively safe & reliable tune, hopefully) on a stock RS5 seems solid to me considering their baseline of 428 AWTQ / 389 AWHP. (figs from their "Power & Torque at the Wheels" graph)

Did APR use a Dynapack dyno for testing?

PS - Congrats APR! Looking forward to parts (cooling & turbo inlet pipes please) and Stg 2 / Stg 3 tunes. I'm only a couple hours away, would love to make the trip.
Talked to Arin who works for APR (he's active on the audizine forum) 2 Issues they ran into one was on full E85 fueling was limited, which they are working around and 2 heat soak was an issue since there isn't a aftermarket solution for the RS5 just yet. I'd expect bigger numbers once they sort these issues out. He guessed that stock turbos would be able to do 5xx whp and 6xx ftlbs when all said and done. Stage II+ sounds very promising.

Hi,
How are you finding the venturi? is it worth it? or mainly just a sound difference?

I have Eventuri intake and there is ZERO difference in noise, from what I'm experiencing. And that's exactly why I went with this intake over AWE's, which makes very pronounced whoosh noises. And while Eventuri have small performance gains figures back by dyno testing, you don't really notice from behind the wheel. Looks fantastic though.

Look forward to seeing the APR unit in customer cars and hear how it sounds/performs.

Need to get my ECU to them. Was going to upgrade through local tuner, but Covid has made a mess of things.

I think the APR does look pretty solid. I'm curious as to the pricing but I am thinking around the $1200 area.

EPL has a nice tune out with you being able to do it all yourself at home including going back to OEM (flash counter will show, though). You have access to a couple of their files.
