Default Oil change interval - mileage vs time?

I started my lease on my 2019 A5 in April 2020. I've been working from home since then so the car only has 2300 miles after 10 months (it had 18 miles on it when I got it). I started getting the "oil change due" alert. Two questions: what is the mileage for the first oil change (3k, 5k, 10k)? Is there a set amount of time to get an oil change even if it hasn't reached that mileage yet?

Ok one more question: after the first oil change, what is the interval after that (time/mileage)?

Search for the 2019 Audi maintenance schedule online. All services are based on a 10k miles/1 year schedule.

It's a brand new engine, you might want to get the factory oil out and install some fresh oil, then start the 1 year or 10,000 mile interval.

Ah, gotcha. Probably not a bad idea. Do you normally go to the dealership for an oil change on a lease or do you go to a regular mechanic?

I do the easy method at home takes about 30-40 minutes. You suck the oil out with a MityVac via a tube in the engine bay; the same tube most of use a dipstick for checking the oil level. The dealer will do it the same way, saves you from crawling underneath and removing about 20 fasteners and a large plastic underbelly cover while on ramps. The oil filter is on top of the engine and is easy to change, canister style. This method is actually fun and saves a boatload of cash, less the $100 investment for the MityVac. Plus you wont spill a drop of oil...not kidding.

One year. 10K miles. Of course you're welcome to change it more often, but it's a waste of time.

I changed mine the first time after six months/4500 miles, but the OP has already owned the car for 10 months so it's moot at this point.
