Its a vinyl wrap on the grill and the chrome on the side. I considered paint but my body shop said he doesn’t like painting chrome parts. If a rock hits it the chrome will show through. With a wrap it’s an easy fix. I also did the back wing and the top of the rear diffuser in a carbon fiber wrap but I don’t have a good picture of it. (tough to see).

Jdc1023,

Did you replace the mirror caps yourself or did the shop do it...were they difficult to replace?
Mine are in route, just wondering...thanks.

Not bad. The sound is noticeably louder when you get on it but not anything crazy. It installs easily in just a few minutes. Don’t know if there is a huge performance improvement especially considering the price but it’s really the only choice right now and it is a nice piece under the hood.

I did them myself. There are a few YouTube videos showing similar models so you can get an idea of the process. Be very careful with the screws that go into the carbon fiber itself. The carbon bosses are very weak and can snap easily. I drilled them out slightly before installing them and I also cut the length of the screws down a little. Other than that it just takes a little patience.
