I have gray Alcantara with brushed aluminium. Sorry, no pics that I could post right now though. Perhaps later today.
My previous S4 was black Nappa with dark trim. I much prefer the lighter gray and aluminium color - it makes the car feel much more open and roomy. I found that the black interior tends to shrink the car and also hides all the detail. Added bonus is the car stays much cooler in the summer.
Just for information sake back in the day, and I mean way back, I was a fan of paste wax. I remember simoniz wax. It was hard as a rock and you had to work your butt off to get the excess off the car. When really good liquid waxes came on the market no one would believe that you didn’t have to rub a semi solid into your paint to do a good job. So the wax manufacturers put thickner in their liquid waxes to make a paste wax. This still holds true today. if you look at a paint job under a microscope you will see highs and lows like valleys. Waxes fill in the lows to equalize the finish and that gives you the appearance of glass. Think in today’s technology the nano waxes and the ceramic finish all are liquids. Bottom line if you are using Maguires ultimate paste wax, Eli switch to the liquid. It fills better without the viscosity of the paste wax.
