Audi wants all of their dealers to look the same, that is why they have to approve all construction remodels/builds of dealerships. They also have a say in the dealer name, which is why there are few if any dealers with the owners name in the dealer name. Names such as Audi of Houston is OK, where Jack Thompson Audi would not fly.

That makes a ton of sense; prior to the “new” Turnersville Audi, they were sharing a single showroom building with Hyundai, on the massive Turnersville AutoMall - which is all Penske owned and has brands from Chevrolet to BMW on the same couple of hundred acres. Due to the density of buildings around this property they were unable to put up a separate building for Audi. Instead, they purchased 3 acres about 2,000 feet away and constructed the new building, still owned by Penske, but not actually part of the AutoMall. Personally I think that’s really hurting the Audi dealership. In order to get to Audi from the rest of the AutoMall you have to pull on to one of the busiest local streets, drive a mile north, through 2 traffic lights, make a U-Turn at the second traffic light and drive a half mile south to get to the Audi showroom. In this area, I think people just say to hell with Audi, I can stay here and choose between Acura, BMW, Chevrolet, Honda, Hyundai and Toyota.
Unless someone is really looking for an Audi they probably just stick with those brands that are centrally located. Personally, I think they should have moved Hyundai and built the new Audi building on the AutoMall. It certainly would get more foot traffic.

Glancing at that dealership photo with the red RS5, my immediate thought was that it could be our local dealership - looked immediately familiar. And I'm located in Australia,
So, the uniformity of Audi dealership architecture extends beyond the US.

Stelvio Pass! Wow! One of the world's most scenic routes!
When I picked up my Porsche a couple years back, I tried to take it to Stelvio, but the pass was closed as it was early spring and there was snow on the pass.
Great pics!
