I specifically looked for a car without the 19" wheels because up here 18s are pretty much all anyone sane runs, year round. On my Golf R I would downsize to 17s in the winter, but on the S5 I think I'll just keep it at 18. I might buy new summer wheels though and use the stock ones for the winter.

IMHO — That’s a plan. When I initially ordered my S5 I chose the 18” with All Season tires. After studying the Audi web site, I decided on the 19” with Summer Tires. My original plan was to wait until the Fall of 2019 to order a set of 18s with A/S tires.
What you see in the pictures is my Winter set up, as I ordered the car with the 19" Cavos with the Summer only Continental tires. I ordered a set of 18" Sport Edition P3 rims and Michelin X-Ice Winter tires from Tire Rack (they came shipped already mounted and balanced) since here in Oregon we are usually under 45F for a lot of the winter and we do get a few days of snow a year, not to mention a lot of wet days in the 35F to 45F temp range. When the forecast first calls for temps under 45F in September/October I put on the Winter set up and they will stay on until about April when we start getting up above 45F.
Great photo, and that clean butt look has me thinking.......
thx - I got on the de-badging bandwagen when I was living in Stuttgart, Germany. Almost all cars in that part of DE are debadged - including super highend models.
