Just got her back from full xpel ppf wrap and ceramic coating on the wheels. Guy did an amazing job and will even check it again in 2-4 weeks to make sure theres no residual bubbling or peeling.
Did they remove your door handles when applying Xpel to them or did they cut the Xpel and hide a seam behind it or something?

He cut the xpel and wrapped it and tucked it into the seams as best as he could. I do have to say that he did a good job except maybe the rear driver side door handle where there's a noticeable lip that he didn't tuck in so well. I'll probably point that out to him when I take it back in a couple weeks for the reassessment.
they put on with the door handles attached. No seam on mine other than the edges
How about the Xpel behind the handle on the door panel itself, the cupped in section? If they didn't remove the handles they would have had to cut a slit in the Xpel to get it past the handle.
Looking shiny and clean now after removing many layers of salt and winter road gunk. I'll enjoy my clean baby while it lasts. More snow expected tomorrow and throughout the rest of next week. Sigh...

i honestly didnt pay too close attention but i think he cut a slit in the xpel bc i can see that its wrapped in the cupped area of the door handles and if i look really close i can tell the edges of the film pieces together. So i think he mightve cut slits and/or pieces put together. I dont mind that as much since it's still protecting the paint and no one can really see unless they are specifically looking for it.
