Oh lord. I am trying to decide if I want to go with black for my next (two) cars... (RS5 now, and e-tron later.). We are going back and forth on a daily basis. The RS5 is sooooo beastly in black, I can't help loving it. And while I love washing cars, I do wonder how fatiguing it will become. (Used to have a black car 20+ years ago, but have done the white car thing recently.) Anyhoooo.
Nice look, Stanler.c

My last two cars were black. IMO the RS5 s loses the design lines with black. And frankly, so many Audi's look brilliant in black. The color choices I was going with: Daytona, Nardo, and Silver. Silver shows the lines well on the sb amazingly, and I don't care for silver cars. But I finally went with Nardo.

Agree with this 100%. The A5, S5 and especially RS5 look best in lighter colors -- Florett, Glacier, Nardo -- because they accent the body lines so well. Darker colors tend to mask those curves and creases in duller light. I *love* Navarra Blue on my S5 SB, but don't care for it on the RS5; it renders the extra bulges flat and the wider body loses definition (especially in photos). Same with Mythos ... all the RS5 extra-ness gets lost. That said, brighter, richer colors like Misano and Sonoma work well because they have enough contrast and flop to highlight body lines.

And Manhattan is a great color; I prefer it to Daytona.
