Outstanding service and pricing - $20.00 complete & shipped. Probably going on over the weekend.
thats a crazy price! I’m waiting for mine from TAG. I paid 6x what you did, guess the other forum members will get to see over time if it’s worth the premium or not. Keep us posted!

I do have the “Genuine Audi Black Rings” — they were part of the front grille / back deck lid kit I got from Valenti Audi before I replaced the standard S5 grille with the EMD RS-Style Grille.

After the EMD blackout rings were delivered I did a “size / weight / visible quality” comparison:

1) The EMD grille requires a slightly larger (both longer and taller) set of rings than the Genuine Audi Rings, so they would NOT fit on the standard Audi S5 grille.

2) The weight of both the EMD and the Genuine Audi Rings is very close. I don’t own a scale that would weight something so light, accurately.

3) Both the EMD and Genuine Audi Rings are glossy and the gloss is the same.

4) Putting the rings side-by-side in both daylight and incandescent light and I can’t tell them apart.

Net Result:

If you have the EMD RS-Style Grille, this $20.00 upcharge is worth it if you want to black-out the front Audi Rings.

However, these rings will not fit a Genuine Audi S5 grille.

That said — I do have the Genuine Black Audi Grille Rings for the stock S5 grille — brand new, never installed — that I’m willing to sell. If interested, shoot me a PM.

PM sent. Do you know it it will fit the RS5 grille?

Edit: Looks like it does... same part for both S5 and RS5... I'll take 'em.

Sun was out today, so I stopped to grab a quick video clip and some shots. This is more of a BTS snap with my phone.

Are you toweling her dry or blow drying her?

Nice! Tomorrow is my 3 week follow-up with my detailer to check on my ceramic coating and PPF. My car is filthy and can't wait for her to get her first bath.
