Mine turned 1 year 2 weeks ago and I did my summer detail today too and while I did not take a “before” picture, I did take an after shot:

After the wash, I remembered to re-apply this rubber seal treatment on all the rubber seals (hood, doors & trunk seals) to keep the them soft and “sealing” without any squeaks. This stuff is great and I thank whichever member recommended this last year:

Shot on top of the roof — beautiful mirror image reflection.

I’ll take a few pictures tomorrow. The weather is perfect here in South Jersey!

These pictures show the “quality” of a Ceramic Coating. This is before any washing at all — just the preliminary “wet down” of the car:

I continue to ask — where was this product 50 years ago, when I was applying “Classic Carnuba Wax” to my cars every 3 months! What a PITA that stuff was to put on but especially to take off!

The geezers amongst us will remember “Classic” wax.

No water.

I used Simple Green on a microfiber towel to clean and cut the grime. Then I used Adams VRT to dress the plastic and rubber.

Awesome! Nice work. Do you have the 034 strut brace?

John,

How do you like the Gummi Pflege Stift? I am a big fan of the rest of the product line, but I haven’t used that product yet?

Kevin — as the seals are still very soft AND quiet after its first year, I’m very happy to use this product twice a year (summer & winter detailing) and not think about it any other time.

After another member posted about it, I looked at Amazon and was shocked at the price but I ordered 2 bottles anyway. The bottles are bigger than I expected but you don’t use much when applying it and to keep the seals quiet and working it’s certainly worth every penny.

A big shout-out to the member who posted this up last year.

Thanks. I will take a look at Detailers Domain and see if they have it back in stock.
