While the Audi in the picture is mine after a nice bath, the scene-stealer is a Maclaren that parked next to me.

Definitely. The Audi is still very nice, but of course the McLaren is in an entirely different league!

Have you done any measurements around the heat of the ECU with the cover over it? I would think they made the extra fins on it for cooling and this would block the air from moving over it.

Nothing noticeably different than without but that's without any tool and I haven't had more than a 90min drive. FWIW we've been in the uppers 90s to low 100s the past few weeks.

Washed and finally put the gloss black side badges on. Happy with everything at this point.

We’re getting the old side badges off a PITA? I know some members have said it wasn’t tough while other members have struggled. What was your experience? Thanks.

Not too bad, probably somewhere in the middle. Keep in mind I got a new set of badges so I didn't worry about preserving the existing ones. I think if you wanted to do that it would be extremely challenging as per instructions that have been posted.

I used a heat gun to soften the adhesive and slowly pried out the badges. I had a few clips break but again, it wasn't a concern. Using goo-gone and cleaning up the residue was more time-consuming. Makes a big difference, I'm really happy with the look of my S5 now especially with my paint color.
