Looks like a 2018. And its an A5 so I think the calipers were painted.

Any problem with painting calipers? Heck, Brembo paints theirs, even for Tesla......

I got the license plate mount from Craven Speed... link below:
https://www.cravenspeed.com/a5-s5-rs...ount&Year=2018

It does not block the sensors but I only installed it after I got the aftermarket grill.

Nice looking car, especially with the RS-Style Blacked-out grille & Red quattro!

So what are people's opinions on adding the honeycomb RS style grille to non S model cars? I'm considering it (with no upbadging of course), but don't want to do something that would be looked down on because my car is simply a standard A5.

I think I read a good comment on this previously. Basically only a small amount of people know what an RS5 is and an even smaller subsection on that know the difference between the grills. If you like the honeycomb grill then go for it. I think leaving an RS badge is tacky but I personally don’t see anything wrong with replacing the grill.

Yeah - that makes sense. And the RS badge would definitely come off.

its your car! Do whatever you want with it. As long as you don’t put an rs5 badge on it i dont see an issue! Aesthetically it looks better than the regular grill.
