You're right, might as well go all black so everything matches. Have you found a good source for the black fender/door design piece, kind of difficult to find if one does not know what it's called? The OEM piece appears to have some stainless steel on it and is high quality part, was wondering what the quality of the the black replacement piece would be (and if its OEM)?
Luckily Audi has started selling these in black as well, I think very recent development. P/N ZAW098010AFDSP
Found the part, the cheapest in the USA after an extensive search is $318 and it's not available on Cars245 or E-ACCA (yet), probably will shoot them an email and see if they can source the part, it will certainly be less $$. It is a great looking part though, and like folgen nie said it's OEM! It may have been better if the chrome S5 was black too, but not hard to fix that!

You're probably right, the one's on my car now are (chrome S5) and look pretty good, probably just leave it alone, they're only 1/2 inch lettering. I'm not totally allergic to chrome...LOL!

My car still has the chrome S5 on both sides but I did switch to black front & rear rings and the S5 logo on the back to black. Those side badges seem to be a PITA to change out without leaving plastic pieces in the door / fender that could possibly rattle or buzz.
