And, maybe just maybe, the “soon to be defunct, Las Vegas, Nevada?” This pandemic proves the falseness of the statement:

“If it happens in Las Vegas, it stays in Las Vegas.”

Just took delivery of my new S5 SB! Unfortunately could only snap a couple quick pics before taking it straight for PPF and tinting. Super excited. Next I'd like to get a dash cam and AA wireless.

I noticed the front plate only has 2 holes drilled. The dealer said they'd have to drill two more holes in the bumper but I didn't want to do that. What does everyone else do, other than not running a front plate?

@S5MD — Congratulations and wise call to get the PPF done while it’s still new!

As far as the Front plate, my personal choice is a solution from STO ‘N’ Sho link . The mounting plate mounts below the bumper (pretty much hidden) and the license plate is mounted to a bracket that quickly installs in that under bumper mount. Removing or installing the license plate is literally a 10 second task that requires zero tools.

I’m sure there will be other members posting up their solutions.

Happy Motoring!

Default My First Audi

Hi All, New to the forum and new Audi owner here converted from BMW. Thought I would post a photo of my 2018 Tango Red S5 Sportback. Really love the car and hope it will give me many years of service. Just had detail/paint correction done and PPF applied in the last few weeks.

I didn't know how well it would work, so I just started out with one that could be adjusted to the two screwholes already there. There are several out there, and I went with this one:
Amazon Amazon
A few days later I saw basically the same thing at AutoZone.

I was worried about it being held on by only two screws, and those being low on plate. But it's held on just fine. (I don't go through car washes--not sure how well that might work. And my max speeds have been > 80 mph on the Oklahoma turnpike.)
