I must admit sadly I due to medical conditions do not wash my own vehicles. I have a professional company come out every two weeks to fully detail them all. Next time I see them, I’ll check and see what they use.
I used that same one and hated that it kicked back nasty wheel cleaner as well. I switched to a Chemical Guys wheel brush and it's much better at holding onto the cleaner/dirt.
I couldn't find the exact same brush, but Chemical Guys did have a "Gerbil" brush kit with soft brushes. Thanks for the heads up. EXTENDED REACH WHEEL GERBILS
By a show of replies, who regularly washes their barrels? I do and my one problem is that the brush I use:
spits grime on me when pulling it towards me.
Same brush. Same problem. I just take it as a hazard of the activity.
I have had a set of these for over 7 years and the largest one is just starting to fall apart. the kit came with more than three though (including an angled one). I stand by quality tools and these are great. must have lasted 300+ washes. https://www.autogeek.net/wheel-woolies.html
I’m a real amateur to have never thought to put a drip pan down there when doing something like this!
lol. I realized after the first one I was trashing the garage floor and grabbed one. Made a big difference.
Just got the car back from craft detailing where they worked their magic with paint correction, nearly full front xpel ultimate PPF and topped the whole thing with opti-coat pro plus. Looks incredible.
