I got the Continentals too and I think they kinda suck. Not sure if the Hanooks are much better.

I took delivery in early/mid-October and my car had Contis (which I've swapped for Michelin Pilot A/S3+ for winter duty). I haven't run the Hankook altnerative, so can't speak to that tire specifically, but Hankook make some good tires. My F150 came with Hankook A/Ts stock, and they were great. Only ran them 1000 miles before lift and BFGs, but I'd have run Hankooks if they were available in the size and load rating I wanted.

I'm a tire snob, my favorite street tire is the PSS ( have not tried PS4s )

I got the Contis and i'm meh on them. I don't think they have great feedback for a 'summer' tire. I'm probably going to swap them out with a set of PS4s once I hit my first oil change.

The F-Type came with Pirelli P-Zero's and they were horrible in anything but absolute dry pavement, terrible in any wet condition and horribly noisy.

I'm long a fan of Michelin performance tires myself, having run some iteration of Pilot Sports on my cars since forever. Not because "tire snob", but because they're great tires. I swapped the Contis for Pilot A/S3+ on the stock Cavos for winter duty and will run PS4S on 20" Vossen Forged the rest of the year. Even so ... there are very good "budget minded" performance tires out there (along with a lot of ****ty tires).

Getting the thread back on track, here's my car with said A/S3+ all-seasons on a backroad outside Portland on a foggy morning.

What's funny is that on the AudiUSA builder, the tires that come on the car are actually Michelins when you option the 19's on the coupe.
