S5 Sportback Delivered
#11
Manhattan Grey, black optics, Cavo 19" wheels and replaced my A7. Hadn't driven the S5 Sportback (ordered from early production run), just the S4 Avant and S5 Coupé. The Coupé has a shorter wheelbase than the others, and feels more pointy/darty/loose/agile (pick the adjective that suits your lexicon) as a result. The Sportback feels more like the S4, but the difference is relatively subtle.

Congrats, beautiful car! That is exactly the combination I am looking to order if and when Manhattan Gray + black ops are offered in the US.

This applied to cars with S adaptive suspension, Sport diff, Dynamic steering, and driven in Dynamic mode. Back the MMI off from Dynamic, you won't notice any difference. Also my Sportback and the Coupé I drove did not have a sunroof. The S4 Avant did, and I could feel it. A sunroof adds a lot of weight in the worst possible place on the car. I'm glad to see the new B9 RS5 has a carbon fibre roof option - less weight in the roof is the right direction if you are interested in how a car handles and feels, not more.
If I was after the most sporty, responsive feel, and had no significant need for the much better rear seat room of the Sportback, perhaps the Coupé?
Btw, can you confirm the locations of the 19 speakers that come with the b&o system? Can't seem to find any information on that.
