I had it on a Porsche I recently sold. Most independents, (and even the Porsche dealer) will honor it. Their Platinum level warranty is just as comprehensive as the OEM offering in my experience.

And, since I traded the car with remaining time on the Fidelity warranty, they wrote me a check rebating me the unused premium.
I have no affiliation with Fidelity, just a satisfied customer. I would/will use them again.

@DaveGee — Based on the feedback on this forum, I did reach out to an authorized Fidelity Warranty Services Reseller and was told that Fidelity requires the factory warranty to still be in force for Fidelity to provide the extended warranty. This forced me back to my dealership where the Audi sponsored warranty does not have this requirement.

Not apples to apples, but for my 2018 with about 23,000 miles, I'm looking at right around $1000 for each year of coverage on the Audi Platinum plan with a $250 deductible. I still have a few months left under my CPO warranty before I buy the extended.
