Plug or Patch - IMHO.
It appears to be dead center in the tread so a plug or patch would work in 99.9% of these types of injuries.

The first step is to pull it out to see if it has gone through the tire. However, I would not do this until I was at a shop who could repair it. Assuming it went through the tire the correct way to repair it is using a plug/patch combo. That means the tire shop will need to dismount the tire and install the patch on the inside of the tire (the plug portion will go from the patch through the hole to plug the hole in the tire). Of course you could also replace the tire, but since that P7 tire is still quite new, I would be tempted to repair vs replace given the location of the nail in the center of the tread (which is the safest portion of the tire to repair).

I have been told by multiple tire dealers to patch instead of plugging. A plug stresses the tire carcass/belts in order to seal, and a patch doesn't. Never had a patch start leaking again, but have had plugs start again. YMMV.

Flat Tires - To Plug or Not to Plug? MotorWeek
So I think your dealership took the cheap route. I highly doubt you'll ever have any issues, but you paid for the tire insurance...

I will check the pressure first and find it’s low I will bring to tire shop
I have the one maintenance package I forgot the name but it’s the on beyond oil changes I am not sure if it will cover tire issues.

Discount Tire has repaired similar punctures for free for me. Should be simple based on the location.

Given the performance rating of the tire, keep in mind that potential to have a damaged tire that could fail under certain conditions due to the damage of the nail.
I had a similar issue, patched the tire until I was able to get a replacement. The old tire is currently in the garage with a another new Hankook.
