I would be interested in a set of B9.5 laser lights if they fit into the B9.

Out of curiosity, I had a look and the B9.5 matrix laser lights are $900 cheaper for the RS5 than the B9 matrix LED lights. Even at their regular price they're almost $930 cheaper. So if the B9.5 lights can fit without needing a new bumper and grill on the B9 then it would actually make more sense to go that route.

The post-facelift laser lights are just the housings to replace a B9.5 set. They do not include the needed modules or other components required. This is for the person who really does not want the orange side marker and is fitting back their stock post-facelift modules onto the European housings.

The pre-facelift matrix headlights are a retrofit package with all of the needed items to upgrade from LED headlights on a pre-facelift model.

Cheers,

Ah, that would explain the price difference, makes sense.

You should try and retrofit the illuminated seatbelt buckles of the A6/A7/A8.

You'd need power (obviously) and I assume some sort of data connection to tell them to turn off with the other interior lights.

Working on ordering a set of the illuminated front seat belt receptacles and making some harnesses up to adapt more easily. Audi oddly changed up the plug so much it uses different pins so you can't swap a plug onto the car or the new receptacle and would prefer not to be cutting/splicing wires like that on a seat belt system.

Stay tuned for those in coming weeks!

Cheers,

Didn’t even know those existed. That might make the MIL happy. She can never find the buckle and I have to help. (Insert your own comment here). I’m too busy now until Apr 15, but do tell more John.

I would definitely be interested in a set for the front and rear seats.

Not much more to say I'm afraid as I don't know anyone who has done it. Basically the buckles have an illuminated trim piece that turns off and on with the interior lights. I know with the A6, A7, and A8 you can control them through the MMI although that probably wouldn't be possible if retrofitted to the B9. You can't change their color, they only illuminate in white (maybe you could swap out the LED assembly with one of the RGB ones and hook it into one of the ambient lights?). Here's a photo of the rear seats in an RS6 with them.
