Download the attached customcodings.pdf file and rename it to customcodings.csc
The forum does not allow .csc files to be uploaded.
Import the file into the Custom Codings in Car Scanner. I've done all the work for you. You just need to apply the coding to your car.

Carista and Car Scanner app is all that is necessary to run this script? Any downsides you're seeing? Does it say RS5? I have an A4 so I am not sure if the "derivative" coding is any different and it will instead say RS4 or something.
Long time OBD11 user, but wanting to do this without spending OBD11's egregious credits.

In my case I already had both the dongle and the Car Scanner software which I've used for several things. But Yes, that is all you need.
I also will never trust any One Click scripts or routines (Kufatec dongles included).
The dials just show S or RS without any model numbers. I went for the S view as I have an A5 S line trim car, so a little less fake than displaying the RS. The S Line trim has a lot of S markings in the car in any case.
