After a lot of research I went with 15% Llumar CTX ceramic tint. Ceramic tint is not supposed to interfere with electronics. Cost me $340 installed. No strip on windshield.

To whoever ‘tinted’ the windshield: do you see any artifacts at all, any minuscule specks, lines, dots etc in any particular lighting conditions? Any regrets? I’m extremely picky when it comes to that and I would not compromise. I’m afraid that if I’d see any it would mess it up for me.

My windshield is crystal clear, not a single grain of dust - it would have bothered me as well - slightly OCD. I went to a very reputable tint shop, the first time they put it on they were almost finished and they noticed a piece of dust on the outside edge and ripped the whole thing off to start again - and the Photosync tint is not cheap, I believe he said he pays over 8 a SF. As long as you go to a good tint shop you shouldn't have any issues It's well worth it, especially in this heat we have had up here in the Northeast the past few days.

Wow that’s encouraging! Thank you for your input.

I appreciate all the feedback fellas. I will most likely do 15% all the way around but will never tint my windshield. I am contemplating not doing the 4" strip across the top of the windshield as I have in my past rides, this car may be too classy for that lol. I have always used Llumar film in the past but it's been so long since i've tinted a car I will have to see what's available.
