Seems to be. My phone call seems to have zero lag And I heard only one minor skip during a Spotify playback. No pop and cracking as of yet.

That’s great. I’m going to give it a shot.

Thanks for letting us know.

ive taken two drives with the new firmware. The first drive had the same exact problems. Started crackling about 5-10 mins into the drive.

the second drive was better and didn’t notice any issues.

hopeful but cautious

Guys, I manually updated with a file sent by carlinkit to the June update. Still the same problems (delays and cracking). However, it's making me put in a username and password to check for the latest updates. Anyone else seeing that? Wonder if it's because I updated via a USB stick vs. online. I've been waiting for carlinkit to send me credentials, but wondering if anyone has any suggestions aside from going back-and-forth with their support.

My best suggestion is to try admin/admin or admin/password for the credentials. Can you upgrade to the new July update? Maybe ask them to send you the new firmware if you can’t upgrade yourself

It gets stuck for a few times when downloading. I’m still not able to complete the download yet.

They got back to me and this time the username/password worked. Now, I'm battling with the firmware download issue mentioned by a few people (starts downloading but stalls). Will try again later. Sounds promising!
