Default the 15,000$ question

so, here are the rules. you have a stock 2002 allroad, with a 2.7t and a 6 speed manual. what would you do to the allroad? sell it?

I'm confused. Do I have 15000 dollars to make the allroad awesome? Or are you trying to sell a 2002 allroad for 15000 dollars, or?

Just bought my 2002 6-spd(for far less than $15k, mind you). Converting to coil overs is the first item on the list, along with addressing some snags that came with it (oil leak, mysterious rattle in exhaust.) Planning new intake as well, but I'd also like to hear from people what needs to be done to make this car truly awesome.

If you have the coin to blow and care little about what you will have left down the road, then mod away. There are a lot of nice mods that really enhance the allroad experience.

For sure, a mild chip tune and an exhaust replacement can do wonders in the fun dept.

The sky (and wallet) is your only limit...

sorry i was pretty unclear about that. you have 15,000 and the car. and a Starbucks close by, of course. me , personally, i think i would take it to the closest tuner with the best rep. and throw 10k at him and tell him to do what he does best. then id go buy some spinners.. hah jk. id probably save the rest for future problems. since everybody thinks that's a good idea.

And not to forget, the supporting mods. EPL only tunes their fueling kits, so no worries there. When it's done, you'll have one of the fastest allroads ever.

If you are going with the coilovers then don't forget this:

http://www.hotchkis.net/audi_allroad...set_black.html

Cannot find the link but there is a tranny support to help with the play in your driveline. Basically stiffens things up a bit so you don't feel like things are getting away from you under the hood.

Some nice 18" wheels would be on my wishlist (shod with Conti Extreme Contact DWS's). BBS has some nice ones but I also like a few of OZ's.

A Billy Boat exhaust would be on my wishlist. May help solve that rattle you have too!

iPod adapter from Audi. They sell them directly for your Audi now.

How about some 3M ceramic tint for the windows?

I have the GIAC chip in mine and it is mild but has added a nice punch to the mid-range. There are other tunes out there that are more aggressive but with that comes the peakiness that may not appeal to everyone.

Oh, don't ignore your brakes. If you put enough into the engine then you should consider how you intend to stop. This is pricey I know but will save your hide and if you get a Big Brake Kit then you have some subtle bling behind the rims! You can also simply swap out rotors and pads with SS lines and new brake fluid and probably be happy with the improvement.
