-20 degrees. 007 Smoke Screen. I believe I had a frozen breather hose and blew cam adjuster seals.

So check this out for luck. I was at work on wednesday and the car sat outside in -20 all day. I didn't perform my typical warm-up as my wife had called me thinking she was going into labor... which she was. So i rushed home and was noticing the car chugging on the way. This is only a 10 minute drive and by the time I got home, the car lost 2 qts of oil. I didn't have a lot of time to look at it but it there is obvious oil spray from the passenger side CAS onto the rear engine well and also on the driver's side. Here are my questions:
* Is there anything else I should look at as potential leak areas as a result of this?
* If the driver's side was leaking significantly should I consider replacing the timing belt since oil was leaking all over it.
* Can I even change the driver's CAS without puking off the bumper, radiator, etc. There does not seem to be enough room to get to the three torx bolts with the timing belt cover in the way.
Thank you in advance for any help here.

We had the front crank seal blow out on the Passat a couple years ago when the breather hose froze, lots of oil on the floor. The 02 allroad had the same issue last year causing the cam seals and valve cover gaskets to leak. The breather hose is a major issue in cold weather. I have talked with the dealer that they should make it a maintenance item.
The 4.2 is now leaking around the valve cover gasket and I have read about issues with the PCV valve freezing. The difference is the PCV valve is on the engine and will thaw from the engine heat. Not sure this is the problem with mine. It seems to be better since I tightened one of the cover screws a bit.

It will be in a week though. Maybe Shea can help me. Good thing we have a Saabaru (Saab 9.2x). Fun little car and probably significantly more reliable... but still not an Audi.
