Default 2001 CPO Allroad ....Should I ?

Looking to go from My '00 A6 2.7T (just came off CPO)to an Audi wagon. Had my heart set on an S6, but they are just a bit out of my price range.

Found a CPO'd 2001 Atlas Gray Allroad with 39K miles, black/gray leather interior, cold weather package, that's it - for 27K ... should I jump on it ?

Thoughts/Advice/Suggestions ?

Default What is CPO worth?

That price seems a little high for an '01 though the mileage looks good and if CPO makes you happy than there is a value in that.

Other '01s are trading for under $20K in some cases (higher mileage but perhaps more options). Yours seems a little stripped down.

Default Re: What is CPO worth?

Most quotes I have gotten for extended warranty have been around $2500. If I can get them down to 24-25K then I think it is worth it.

Default Do some comparison shopping, that price seems high. I checked E-bay. Also check autotrader.com.

But at that price you may have some of the orginal warranty based upon the miles but I don't know about the time limit. Price depends so much on condition so maybe the car you are looking at is worth it.<ul><li><a href="http://motors.search.ebay.com/_Allroad_W0QQfclZ3QQfiscZc6001QQfrppZ50QQfsooZ1QQf sopZ9QQsacatZ80731QQsofindtypeZ22">http://motors.search.ebay.com/_Allroad_W0QQfclZ3QQfiscZc6001QQfrppZ50QQfsooZ1QQf sopZ9QQsacatZ80731QQsofindtypeZ22</a</

Default Not that much....

Working a deal right now to put my folks in a 02 tip/bose/cw/pdc/prem CPO with 47k on the clock for $24K..... I would say they are way high for the 01.

Default seems high priced.. take off 2800 for the CPO...

Thats the price of an Aud Pure protection as posted above. You have an allroad selling for 24K with 39,000 miles and MAYBE just a little, if any factory warranty left due to time.

So.. is this allroad a good value at $24k?

I bought a 2003 cpo with 35k miles with premium, cold weather warm weather, bose and twin spoke wheels for 29,000 so that price seems too high.

Default closed the deal yesterday on a.....

02 tip/bose/cw/pdc/prem CPO with 47k on the clock for $24K. 8k mile diff isn't that significant, especially considering this car is an 02 v. an 01. I say way to high.

I would have to let it go for $27K!
