Default Re: 2003 MFSW Retrofit - problem solved

Im missing pin 7 and 11 on the relay connector (where the 618 goes)

Those pins go to the Tiptronic high and low bus. Ill have to build and connect those too!

Default yeah, BD doesn't like when I call out his "internet stocking" tendencies....

....he's a bit over zealous about all things Audi...and it tends to get a bit "intense" at times.

Default It seems that you've responded (now twice) with the same inacurrate data for the same mod...

....once on this forum...and once on the A6 board (within the last month). In each case, you recommended that a new SC ring is needed....and in both cases, you were incorrect.

I think you are reading the ETKA all wrong...and you tend to interpret it the wrong way. With the MFSW/tip upgrade, you don't need to upgrade the SC ring...unless you're adding a heated wheel

Also, there is a great (and detailed) document on this topic via www.nsxjr.com. I'll recommend (yet again) that you read it for more background on this upgrade -- so you can provide better advice to the Audi community. Heck, I'll even give you the link (start with section 3.10 for the SC ring specifics).

Happy reading (and posting)!! Thanks buddy!!

http://www.nsxjr.com/docs/MFSW.pdf</a

Default I wouldn't think so....however, the 618 is actually two relay's built into one box...

....so maybe there is something quirky about how it is outlined in the wiring diagrams....not sure.
