I bought the car from an auto broker as a 3-year lease return in April. It had 21,000 miles on it then. The service information display started displaying that it was approaching a service time. This was after 25,000 miles. It said service in 1,500 miles, then 1,000 miles then has continued to where it's at now at 100 miles.

I called my local Audi dealer (Sunset Imports) in Beaverton and they say if the car has over 28,000 miles that they will do the 35,000 mile service.

I have also asked about the recall work on the fuel tank and they are prepared to take care of that as well. They will also look into why I can smell burning oil in the cockpit at times. There is a leak in the front passenger footwell that I was told (by an Audi owner here) is due to a poorly replaced windshield seal. So they will look into that too.

One thing I'm not sure about though is the condition of the windshield. There are a lot of small chips and it's not a comfortable thing to look through when driving into the sun in the morning or evening low sun. I've asked Sunset Audi about this and they will have a local shop come quote the polishing of the windshield.

Is there a local shop that you would recommend in the Portland, Oregon area?

this one. You don't want to miss the big one with spark plugs and all filters. Do the fuel filter every 40-50k miles - at an indy, it's cheap.

Your oil smell is the cam adjuster seals, I bet.

Don't say the water is the windshield unless Audi fixed the glass - it could be something else, but you want it to be warranty and not your problem!! I never heard of polishing the glass, personally.

Leaking onto the exhaust. They sealed the windshield right where I heard it should be done.

Back today and all the work and checks were done at no charge. I won't know about the leak being fixed or not until I drive it a few days.
