Default I am just entering 402 to get through the process, also....

I had done the 402 mod successfully on another computer before aboud 2K miles ago, so I am thinking it should work again.

I really do not want to have to go to the dealer to get them to fix this.

Thanks for your ideas, keep them coming!!

Default But... 402 may not be the right # to enter...

--if its out of spec then 402 could be too low or too high and the system will..lock up in fault mode.
This may be the probelem.

Set your car to level 2 and take your measurments. See what each corner is. Then enter the approbriate number to get it back to 402.

I think this is the problem you are having. The car has no "idea" what 402 is as it always thinks is in that position. All the mod does is "trick" the system into re setting itself to a new 402-home position.

Default Yep, Paul is right, let it set on Level2 and measure all corners.

We've had a similar problem with Milpower's ar, all the way down so the car could not even go through the channel 01 self setting routine.
Only the Jack mode let us go back in for changes.

Lets see the result is of your level 2 measurments and take it from there.

Default i had complained about what you just pointed out long ago, you should measure when doing 402 mod

it is after all a program built into the car to set/calibrate the height settings. you can't just assume that the height is correct to begin with, especially with all the used allroad being bought now.

Default Did You save all yor settings with value of "01" in channel 5 and save before you backed out?

You have to save all your settings in channel 5 for them to stay and be "learned by the controller"<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/allroad/msgs/32165.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/allroad/msgs/32165.phtml</a</li></ul>

03Indigo, were you trying the 402 mod? What should I tell my dealer?

Default How can I do it in jack mode? Once I log in it clears out of Jack mode...

Once I enter in 31564 it clears out of jack mode, is this right?

As I know, the only way to clear the code is to complete the 402mod process. So try again and again
