Hello everyone, does anyone have a setup like this for rears: 18x9.5 et33, 265/40/18 and 20mm spacers? I currently have 18x8.5 all around with 235/245 front/rear winters and 20mm and it is nice and flush. I will like to get a setup with 8.5/9.5 & 255/265 front/rear but concerned if the rears will clear inside and outside. Let me know if you got any advice or pointers about this, thanks.

I wouldn't recommend running different size tires on the the allroad.
My perfect tire set up would be 255/45/18's.
I have 275/40/18's and they are too wide.

The 275s do not fit at all or they just rub? I have 255/45/18's F&R summers but this time I will like to go 255/40/18 Front & 265/40/18s Rears. Why would different F&R sizes be a bad thing for the AR? Is it because of the Air Suspension?

As pointless as running a wider rear wheel on a FWD car.

I understand that AWD cars are meant to run symmetrical setups but I love the staggered look. This past winter I ran 235/45/18 Front & 245/45/18 Rear and it was fine including tons of snowy drives. My plan is to run 235/45/18 all around for next winter and for this summer 255 F/265 R. My only concern was clearance or something going mechanically wrong. Staggered it is, thanks for the pointers.

You'll be fine. Just use 20 mm spacers on the rear.

And 275's are too wide. They actually poke. Naturally you want some form of tuck and you can get that with a 255/45/18.
If you are interested in being silly you can run a 275/40/18 in the rear and a 245/45/18 up front.
275's can tuck (but just hardly) in the rear, but will not clear enough to not poke in the front.
It's going to be a waste of money though because you're allroad will handle like crap.

I have 20mm spacers now and it is nice and flush with my current winter setup. Thinking of going with the same 20mm spacers for my 255 & 265 summer setup. The handling must suck with 275 in the fronts, don't want to go that way.

The reason sizes would be bad is because the differential isn't made to handle that.

I just want a nice wide track and rear foot print without poking. I had 255s all around last summer but was not totally happy with the rear. I think 255 Fronts will handle good and 265 Rears would look awesome. I would think that any damage would occur if the fronts are too wide like 265 and up but the rears should be OK. am I missing something?
The idea is to have the same diameter wheel. 265 in the rear will not match the 255 at the front with any combination of aspect ratio. That's where Quattro may suffer.
