45 mph wobble - Dyno to help diagnose? TCM? Other?

I have an '01 AR Tip with the dreaded wobble:
- only happens when on the throttle, never while coasting
- disappears when I let off the gas
- most noticeable 30-65mph
- seems to be from right front
- more noticable when cornering left than right
- no other noticeable signs - engine OK, drives OK, tracks OK, etc.
I had it checked out by my mechanic and also at an Audi dealer
- replaced tires/balanced wheels - still wobbles
- did alignment (RF toe was out) - still wobbles
- CV joints look OK
- no play in axle bushings
- wheel bearings should be OK (no noise)
Front rotors give a little bit of vibration under hard braking, but nothing major.
Wondering if it could be CV or axle or torque converter or... but I don't want to pay incremental costs of $500-$1K or more a pop just on hopes that it will make a difference.
Tonight I will see if the wobble is there when I:
1) disable traction control.
2) have the torque converter locked up or not.
Based on reading prior posts here, I mentioned the Transmission Control Module, but they're not convinced and they won't pay to find out (out of warranty). I read that I might want to replace the '01 TCM with an '02. True? What about '03 or newer - are they the same P/N and/or will they work in my '01? Am I dreaming that this could fix the wobble?
Anyone know where there is a 4-wheel dyno in the MA/NH area? I'd love to reproduce the problem and observe the front end/driveshaft/etc. Also to see correlated engine data to rule out misfiring, etc.
What about an '02 AR Tip Transmission Control Module? I haven't been able to find a salvaged AR.
Any thoughts or comments are MOST appreciated.

Are they stock with aftermarket wheels.. it could be a simple missmatch. It could also be a CV joint, noting that its one sided and under power.

I've been dealing with a very similar problem ever since they replaced my transmission in March.
45-48mph, only when under light throttle and holding that speed. Same in 5th gear or 4th (using Tip). Dealer replaced the prop shaft, but that didn't fix it. Had gotten brand new shoes just before the trans failure, and they were not the cause of the vibration.
I feel the vibration in the seat, not the wheel. Leads me to think (coupled with the on/off throttle sensitivity) it's a drivetrain issue.
I'm still waiting for another round of communication with the regional Audi rep, since the prop shaft replacement didn't fix it. I'm still under warranty (AA now, but the initial complaints/fixes were before 50k).
Grrr.

The TCM for '01 AR Tip has a part number of 4Z7927156A with dealer price around $650. This P/N is good for '01 and "some" '02's up to a certain VIN - last 6 digits of 040001.
At this VIN change, the TCM part number goes to 4Z7927156F - note the suffix change from "A" to "F". Dealer price for F version is ~$635.
They could not tell me what the functional difference is between "A" and "F", nor could they confirm if the "F" version will work on my '01 AR.
--Does anyone know if the 4Z7927156F will work in an '01?
Wondering if this might help make Mr. Wobble go away...
