Default 45K service

At Sunset Audi in Beaverton, OR. $201.00 for the oil and filter change and inspections.

Is/was this a good average?

My Audi warranty is expired and I'm now on my Wynn's Diamond warranty. I am going to give Sunset Audi the opportunity to make the current needed repairs (self leveling, ESP & ABS warning lights came on all at once). It might be just the switch that I could replace myself or have an Indy do, but for now I'll try the dealership.

Anyone with a Wynn's Warranty that they've used?

waste of money. Read what the 45K is in your book.
Let the dealer do the warranty work and simply change the oil. A synth change even at a dealer is less than $100.00

$120.00 was the labor, 18.00 filter, 1.38 washer, 62.50 oil.

My Wynn's Warranty covered the brake sensor completely at $168.00 today.

Default Yep, the labor

The inspection of the undercarriage for leaks, topping all the fluids etc. I assume a normal Audi 45k service.

I may send the bill off for the 45k service to Wynn's and see if they'll cover it. I paid it thinking it was normal service and may not be covered, but if Audi USA covers it, Wynn's just might.

SmileyOr,

I'm in the midst of researching extended warranties for my 04 allroad. Are you happy with your Wynn's Warranty?

Thanks!

Rick

Never mind, I just called Wynn's, and they told me that if my original dealer did not offer it, I'm SOL. They had absolutely no interest in even offering a dealer list... pretty interesting way of marketing your product!

Thanks!

Yeah, I bought my car from a broker and that was the warranty he offered.

There is a guy that posts here that sells warranties. I can't remember his name. Do a search for extended warranty and his name will come up. I think it's Bruce.

Yes, his name is Bruce. I've sent him multiple emails and a PM, with no response. I'm guessing he's been away from the board for awhile.

Thanks!

Default Just had the 45k service competed

The only thing that is needed is the oil change, per my service adviser. The 4.2 takes over 9 qts so between the oil, filter and labor the cost should ~$110.
