628 Relay mod [ 2002 ar ] switching back and forth ... would a rheostat work?
I had pulled the 628 relay shortly after I got my car and last weekend I put it back in to see how it felt. I find now that I prefer the car with the relay in place for city driving -- I parallel park ALL the time.
I am considering having a switch installed when I take my car into the shop next week [not the dealer] so I can turn it on and off. But I got to wondering -- is there anyway to put a rheostat type switch on, so I could dial in more or less boost depending on what I was doing? I am aware that there is very little boost at highway speeds, but I would like to have more control over it. Has anyone played with this idea?
Thanks --

there is a way to adjust servo steering with adjustable resistor(seen it done on other models) just
don't like the servo relay. took mine apart and looked at it and that is as far as i got. think you have to pay with this link to follow how they modified it. maybe someone else has another link

http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_1297/article.html</a
