Default abs module? code 01044,00778,01324

fellow allroaders... have you been here ?
2003 2.7 tip 168000miles. had tranny and torque converter rebuilt in November. Within days started getting three beeps and flashing brake symbol. indy said abs module on its way out for intermitant communication. Been told by module masters have a 5.0 module and not rebuildable? Indy told me we would deal with it after gotten over the 5K tranny bill shock so drive on with that on start up. abs and esp was working even with the flashing beeping at startup untill... Last week abs and esp and level light came on all the time with the brake light still beeping three times and then now brake light flashing all the time now.

So I Replaced the blake light switch and still same thing. i did unplug the connector to the 8E0 614 111 AS - 15pin pump to check for corrosion and nothing of the sort. indy cannot clear codes 01044 no codes in control module, 00778 steering angle sensor not matched int, and 01324 control module for awd no communication. Indy tech said strange (indy now wants to book car to replace abs module (pump) with 8E0 614 111 AT for thousand plus install...(ouch

to top it off have some sagging bags in the front that hold on level three only overnight. Codes thrown for this 01400 suspension leve control limit surpassed, 01400 supply voltage to low int, 01316 abs control module check faulty, 01722 signal from level control preassure sensor 6291 inplausible signal int.

Sorry for the long rant and just wondering where i am going with this .... love the car but is wifes ride and i keep hearing she needs a new car and i would like to at least drive it for another year given the new tranny. do i bite the bullet as in abs module purchase and open wallet or? what would you do? ANY INSIGHT GREATLY APPRECIATED !

I did not have to do any donuts in the parking lot or do the system function test 01486 as dcsat had to do with his thread "Air Bag Light on - Why???" had to but so far so good !

Thanks all for the previous posts that i used to get this far.

Next on the to do list is to the install of arnott bags up front!
