Default looks like you are using the shareware version of vagcom

IIRC, you can only do ride height adjustments with the full licensed version. that might be part of the problem.

Nope, its a licensed version. originally wwe tried it with the shared version, but, now we have a licensed version. Look at the codes. What is it telling me ?
Why is air not getting to the suspension ?

Default are you able to connect the vag com to the ride height module?

you can (or should be able to) set the ride height via the 402 mod instructions, but when you input the height use the actual numbers you measured. that should (IIRC) take care of the control position not learned. as for the signal code, I dont know what that is unless you had turned on the car with the sensor out of place and it is just a residual code from that? If it were me, I'd try to set the ride height via the 402. then would clear the codes and would see if they come back.

Default I can't decpher the codes for you but

based on this --

17831 - Secondary Air Injection System: Bank 1: Insufficient Flow
P1423 - 35-00 - -
17544 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P1136 - 35-00 - Long term Fuel trim add. Fuel, bank1 system too lean
17546 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P1138 - 35-00 - Long term Fuel trim add. Fuel, bank2 system too lean

I don't think those codes are related to the air suspension. I think they are related to the fuel management system and secondary air intake.

The other code could be related to the suspension but I'm only guessing. Hoefully one of the experts will chime in.

Default level not changing

I am working on this car and tried doing the 402 procedure and can connect to #34 ride height control module and login but as soon as I go to channel 01 the compressor kicks on and the height never changes. The compressor will turn off after about a minute and 'Error' shows up in the channel 1 box. I am thinking that there is a leak somewhere near the pump or tank, but where should we look first?

Default eeek. sounds like a leak to me too. unfortunately that gets past my knowledge of what

to do next, hopefully someone else will chime in with further ideas. maybe trace the air line route listening for leaks or testing with soapy water looking for them?

Default I think I just wrote this yesterday but here goes again....when you have a

height sensor go out it puts the suspension ECU back into original or default mode (that is assuming your ECU is not bad along with the sensor...there would have been a VAG code for this in addition to the height sensor but if you only had the shareware version it might not have picked it up so you may also have a fried ECU...anectdotally I read that they sometimes go out together)...you have to go to each of the 01 to 04 and remeasure the wheel center to top of wheel well arch and enter that number in each of the values and save with the 05...after you have them all set to their original or programmed position then you can in 5mm increments change the position. If you do this and nothing happens I would almost bet that the ECU is bad and this cost me more than $100 (I don't have the exact number in front of me, but Craig at genuineaudiparts.com had the best price)...this is an exacting process and you have to be extremely patient and you may have to take the ECU out and let it sit for a period of time to allow it to be reprogrammed....for real expert help page ex_Pz and pray he'll let you call him to walk you through it or if you are close to Philly let him do it...good luck.

Default

I think you should fix the code "01772 - Signal from Level Control Pressure Sensor" first.
